The Philadelphia 76ers are channeling an iconic era for the upcoming NBA season. On Wednesday (Sept. 24), the team revealed its 2025-26 Nike NBA Hardwood Classic Edition uniform, presented in partnership with Official Jersey Patch Partner, Crypto.com. The latest installment of the team’s black uniform celebrates the 25th anniversary of the 2000-01 Eastern Conference Championship team and its run to the NBA Finals.
That team was led by then-coach Larry Brown and boasted stars including Allen Iverson, Dikembe Mutombo, Eric Snow, and Aaron McKie. As detailed by ESPN, it also marks the anniversary of Allen Iverson’s MVP-winning campaign, when he averaged a league-high 31 points per game.
According to a press release, the new Hardwood Classic jersey is designed to resemble the 2000-01 era uniform, translated onto Nike’s modern performance chassis. Additionally, throughout the 2025-26 season, the 76ers will celebrate the 2000-01 team’s legacy with alumni tributes, in-game and promotional throwbacks, custom merchandise, and more. The jerseys will be debuted at the Nov. 8 game against the Toronto Raptors with a themed court.

The 76ers will also sport the nostalgic uniform six more times during road games against playoff contenders from the 2000-01 season.
“Some of my favorite memories came when I was wearing this uniform. I enjoyed every moment of playing for my childhood team. This uniform represented the connection of players with the city and 76ers fans,” expressed former Philadelphia 76er Eric Snow. “Although we didn’t accomplish our ultimate goal, I’m still thankful for the time I played in the 76ers uniform. Even now, I still meet people wherever I go who speak about the passion they had for our team and that run.”
