6ix9ine has been banned from a luxury apartment complex in Miami thanks to his security guard, who allegedly got a little careless with an automatic firearm.
On Tuesday (December 13), TMZ reported 6ix9ine had been banned from SLS Lux Property after one of the rapper’s friends — Nelk Boys member SteveWillDoIt — received a letter sent by attorneys for the apartment complex. The “GUMMO” rapper usually stays with Steve when he’s in town, but his last stay was the final straw.
According to the letter, 6ix9ine arrived at the apartment building in October with security carrying assault rifles. One of the security guards “casually left his assault weapon unattended on his bag” while he went to talk with a group of other people.
It’s no secret that 6ix9ine hasn’t made a lot of friends since attaining fame, especially after he testified for the prosecution against other Nine Trey gang members in his 2019 trial. The property association wrote that it was “aware of the bounty placed on 6ix9ine’s life” following his prison release in April 2020 “in exchange for information regarding others and the provocative antics of 6ix9ine.”
With that being said, the condo association thinks 6ix9ine being around the property puts residents, guests, employees and staff members in a potentially dangerous situation. That apparently happened when TMZ also shared a video they obtained showing four people parked outside the apartment complex with a firearm sitting on the driver’s lap.
“6ix9ine, why am I outside your apartment right now and you not out here,” a man said in the video. “I got a blicky on me and you being a bitch, so we out here right now.”
6ix9ine has now been placed on a banned list that includes a picture of him and an attached message that reads: “If seen on property, do not check-in, do not approach and contact security immediately.”
TMZ reached out to the rapper in order to gather more information but was met with a “no comment” plea.
Despite getting banned, 6ix9ine is full of cheer at the moment after reportedly proposing to his new girlfriend while on vacation in Dubai. A photo has surfaced on Instagram that sees 6ix9ine on one knee holding a blond woman’s hand.
In the photo, the couple are standing in front of a heart-shaped backdrop made of roses, with the words “Will you marry me?” written in lights inside the heart.
In September, 6ix9ine reportedly lost a bid to trademark his own stage name while his attorney struggled to get in touch with him.
The controversial rapper had been incommunicado for months even though he was in the middle of a legal battle over the name with an artist named Warren Hamilton.
Hamilton claimed he’s been using the stage name SIX9 since 2007 and filed a lawsuit against 6ix9ine in July. Due to 6ix9ine’s failure to respond, he lost the trademark.
