Bobby Shmurda Is Not A Fan Of Atlanta Food: ‘This Shit Is Nasty’

Bobby Shmurda probably won’t be spending too much time in Atlanta in the future if his latest viral clip is anything to go by.

In a new social media video, the GS9 rapper voiced his disgust with a Jamaican cuisine he was eating and blasted the restaurant it came from.

“Fuck outta here ATL,” he began his rant. “What the fuck is this? I would never come down here. What the fuck this shit is water. They got water in the oxtail and rice and peas… This shit is nasty. Y’all gotta come to New York for some muthafuckin’ Ras food because if y’all think this is it, y’all cant keep a n-gga with this.”

He went on to compare the oxtail meal to the food he was served while he spent six years behind bars at New York’s Rikers Island. “That’s jail food, bro,” he claimed. “Where did the white shit come from? Y’all trying to be wild extra. I hate wild big chicken.”

Bobby Shmurda’s rant went viral and angered several ATLiens as they flooded the comment sections of pages like DJ Akademiks‘ which reposted the clip.

“Nah we don’t get down like that,” Rich Homie Quan responded. “N-ggas gotta get wit some real atlians to show them the city the right way.”

Derez Deshon added: “@itsbobbyshmurda you shoulda hit me ras man.”

The Brooklyn native will have plenty of chances to try food from different regions of the country as his Bodmon Tour treks for the rest of November alongside Rowdy Rebel.

Upcoming shows include performances in Maryland, Charlotte, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Detroit and another trip to Atlanta, which will be sure to let him know about his taste buds.

On the music side, Bobby teamed up with LouGotCash for the ShmurdaGotCash joint project in October. Lou serves as an opener on the tour with Jay Critch as well.
