Busta Rhymes & Jim Jones Video At Jay-Z Concert Triggers Pause Jokes & Deleted Video

Jim Jones deletes his Yankee Stadium video after the internet floods comments with relentless pause jokes about his moment with Busta Rhymes.

Jim Jones learned the hard way that posting a moment with Busta Rhymes at Jay-Z’s Yankee Stadium concert comes with internet consequences.

The Dipset legend shared a video of himself vibing with Busta in the crowd during the July 12 show, and the comments section erupted with pause jokes that forced him to delete the post entirely

The pause game has become a cultural fixture in Hip-Hop, particularly in New York, where it’s used to flag anything that sounds suggestive or carries an unintended double meaning.

But the phrase carries deeper roots than most realize.

Dame Dash, the legendary Roc-A-Fella co-founder, claims he and Jay-Z originated the term during their time building the label, and it’s since evolved into a way to call out comments that sound gay or homosexual.

When Jim posted his video with Busta, the internet didn’t hold back.

“I took it down,” Jim explained, laughing at the whole situation. “Yo, Busta, I love you, but they crushed us just now. I just want to pause myself. A-Yo. My bad.”

His self-aware response showed he could take the joke, even if it meant deleting the post to stop the endless roasting.
