Cordae and PUMA have teamed up to launch the HI-LEVEL collection filled with eight pieces made up of sneakers and cozy apparel.

The fresh capsule will exclusively be available at Foot Locker locations and PUMA’s website starting on Thursday (February 23).

Cordae designed a pair of sneakers with the HI-LEVEL Suede and HI-LEVEL RS-X models while the rest of the collection includes a jacket, hoodie, sweatpants and three different graphic tees.

“I gotta represent PUMA — it’s bigger than me,” Cordae told Nice Kicks. “I gotta represent the brand well. They gave me a lot of creative control and let me bring some of my friends, it turned out dope.”

It’s a full-circle moment for the Grammy-nominated rapper who routinely rocked PUMA’s as part of his school uniform growing up.

“In middle school, the public school I went to in PG County, we had to wear uniforms,” he explained. “It was a white shirt, khaki pants, and all-black sneakers, so I always rocked the PUMA suedes.”

Prices for the capsule range from $40 t-shirts up to $120 for the kicks. Cordae knew he had to bring the quality and made sure to work closely with PUMA’s team of creatives.

“I’m meticulous about everything,” he added. “Anything that has my name and HI-LEVEL attached, I want HI-LEVEL. I can’t have a brand named HI-LEVEL and have mid some mid sneakers, it’s not good.”

2023 is shaping up to be another busy year for Cordae, who opened his campaign by reuniting with Anderson .Paak on the J. Cole-produced “Two Tens” in January.

The 25-year-old is going to be a father for the first time after he and tennis superstar girlfriend Naomi Osaka announced they were expecting their first child together later this year.

Cordae capped off 2022 with the release of his sophomore album, From A Birds Eyes View, which arrived last January and saw him set out on a subsequent North American tour in support of the project later into the year. The LP peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard 200.
