The Denver Nuggets have stunned the NBA world by firing both their coach, Michael Malone, and their GM, Calvin Booth.
The Nuggets—and Malone and Booth—won the NBA title in 2023. Malone is the winningest coach in the NBA over the last five years.

Although the team still has the fourth spot in the West, it has struggled recently, going 0-3 last week despite Nikola Jokic averaging 45.0 PPG, 12.3 RPG, and 10.7 APG.
David Adelman will be the Nuggtes’ interim head coach for the end of the season and into the playoffs.
What do you think is going on here?
Absolutely nuts. Booth and Malone never liked each other, rarely spoke, and talked behind each other's backs. With the team struggling on the court, Nuggets ownership decided to fire both. Insane. https://t.co/BUVS7grQWq
