Joe Budden did have a rap career before he became a hot-take king.

He even had a gold record, although "Pump It Up" took 21 years to achieve that distinction.

However, sales don't necessarily equal quality, and Old Joe made a bold flex when his podcast crew discussed who has the better mixtape catalog, 50 Cent or Lil Wayne.

According to Joe, the answer was him.

His crew didn't push back on that much -- he pays their salaries, after all.

Later, he topped five the situation.
