Juice WRLD‘s ex-girlfriend Ally Lotti has taken a plea deal in her cocaine possession and theft of property case after being arrested earlier this month.
According to TMZ, Lotti dodged jail time with a plea deal struck earlier this week where she agreed to a misdemeanor charge for possession of instruments of crime and received a year suspended sentence and six months probation.
If Lotti remains crime-free for the rest of 2023 her case will ultimately be dismissed and the charges will be scrubbed from her record. She ended up paying $1,160 in fines for her transgressions.
Ally Lotti and her boyfriend Carter Jamison were reportedly caught shoplifting various items such as “wall mirrors, a bed frame, a bath towel and a digital scale” from a Walmart in Arkansas on January 14.
While apprehending the 29-year-old, arresting officers discovered vials of cocaine in her pockets and purse. That’s when she was hit with charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, cocaine or heroin, in addition to the theft of property.
The Instagram model was jailed at the Crittenden County Detention center and subsequently released hours later after posting the $2,525 bond.
Lotti, who began dating Juice WRLD (real name Jarad Higgins) about 12 months before he passed away, was with the rapper at Chicago’s Midway International Airport on December 8, 2019 when he suffered a seizure following a private flight from California.
The “Lucid Dreams” hitmaker was then rushed by paramedics to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Ill., where he was pronounced dead. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office determined Juice WRLD’s cause of death to be accidental overdose of oxycodone and codeine.
Last November, Ally Lotti posted a clip to social media alleging that fans were wrong to believe her ex died from a drug overdose and hinted there were other factors at play that have since been covered up.
“Y’all mad ’cause literally I’m like, ‘Oh, blah blah blah, you guys think he died from an overdose.’ You’re wrong! you’re wrong!” she said. “Literally, you’re wrong so suck a dick. Okay? Suck a dick.”
