La Reezy’s rapid rise continued with a UnitedMasters deal, adding another major milestone ahead of his highly anticipated debut album “Skiddle Bandana.”
La Reezy has scored a major career milestone after signing with independent music platform UnitedMasters, a move that signals the New Orleans rapper has truly arrived.
He’s also set to release his debut album, Skiddle Bandana, and continues his remarkable breakout run.
Last year, he was the first recipient of The Hip Hop Museum’s Rap’s Next Generation Award and continues to garner grassroots accolades. He frequently goes viral organically with his frenetic, energetic and positive rap style.
UnitedMasters, founded by Steve Stoute, has built its reputation around helping artists retain ownership of their master recordings while expanding their careers independently. The company has continued to grow its global roster, working with artists including BigXthaPlug, FloyyMenor, Veigh, Bay Swag and Armanii.
“UnitedMasters is extremely excited to announce our partnership with La Reezy. La Reezy’s authenticity consistently shines in each of his creative offerings,” Stoute said.
He added, “We strongly believe he represents a career artist with all the intangibles necessary to become a star in today’s fast-evolving music industry.”
For La Reezy, the partnership represents more than a business agreement.
“The partnership with UnitedMasters has been nothing but a blessing; the team executes and supports my ideas 100%. I appreciate how invested they are in my music, my message, and my culture. I’m excited to continue working with UnitedMasters and collectively spreading a necessary message to the world,” he said.
Eric Evander, founder of The Pinnacle Ent and the rapper’s talent manager, believes the deal reinforces the long-term vision surrounding the artist.
“La Reezy is one of the most prolific and exciting artists in music today. His artistry, consistency, and connection to culture set him apart. This partnership with UnitedMasters gives us the opportunity to continue building something special while staying true to the vision that’s brought us here.”
Skiddle Bandana is set for a July 7 release. The project will include “Melanate It,” the jazz-inspired single “How Did You Love Me” and his latest release, “Family Bizzy.”
According to a press announcement, Skiddle Bandana explores family, relationships, grief, loyalty and Southern identity while drawing inspiration from jazz, soul, trap and the musical traditions of New Orleans. The album expands those personal stories into broader reflections on community, heritage and the shared experiences that connect generations.
