Leah Remini Reacts To Being Compared To New Polarizing Beyoncé Wax Figure

Fans of Queen Bey express confusion about the sculpture.

Madame Tussauds Blackpool revealed its new wax figure of Beyoncé. Many pop culture followers around the world noticed the statue had a strong resemblance to The King of Queens star Leah Remini.

The Beyoncé figurine is dressed in a replica of the House of Timothy White hooded bodysuit the singer wore at her Renaissance album launch event in New York at Times Square’s Paradise Club.

“Let’s Dance! Our two BRAND NEW global superstars have arrived!” read a caption on Madame Tussauds Blackpool’s Instagram post about the Beyoncé sculpture.

The social media message continued, “Queen Bey and Lady Gaga have landed in our Alist Awards Party and are bringing some serious red carpet vibes.”

A TMZ account on X shared a photo of the Beyoncé wax figure on the platform. The tweet also mentioned that some people have been comparing the art piece to Leah Remini.

“I am screaming! And loving all the tweets! This perimenopausal woman will take any and all comparisons to the beautiful Beyoncé!” Leah Remini wrote on X in response.

Leah Remini played Carrie Heffernan on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens for nine seasons. Beyoncé is a 32-time Grammy Award winner. The former Destiny’s Child member has eight No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
