Meek Mill Announces Return Of 'Flamerz' Mixtape Series

Meek Mill has announced he’s bringing back his Flamerz mixtape series with a fifth installment that’s set to arrive very soon.
The Dream Chasers boss shared the news on social media on Monday (October 31), giving fans a glimpse of the project’s fiery cover art along with a tentative release date.
“FLAMERZ 5 ‘for promotional use only’ any day I pick ima drop it give me a few days,” he wrote on Instagram while sharing the fire emoji-filled artwork.
On Twitter, Meek hinted at the mixtape’s imminent release, writing: “Flamerz 5 in 2 weeks.”

Flamerz series in 2008, helping the rapper gain a buzz in his hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The last installment arrived in March 2010 and featured appearances from Black Thought, Freeway, Gillie Da Kid and more.
While further details remain scarce,
Flamerz 5 will serve as the follow-up to Meek’s fifth studio album,
Expensive Pain, which dropped in October 2021 and contained the bonus track “Flamerz Flow.”
The mixtape announcement comes shortly after Meek Mill revealed plans for a special
homecoming concert in Philly to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his debut album
Dreams and Nightmares.
The MMG rapper will be joined by a cast of special guests at the Wells Fargo Center on November 26. Fans interested in the event can purchase tickets on Wednesday (November 2) via

Dreams and Nightmares was released on October, 30 2012 and boasted appearances from
Drake,
Nas,
Rick Ross,
Wale and others. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 after selling 165,000 first-week copies, and has since been certified gold.
Meek Mill also recently gave fans a taste of what he’s been cooking up by sharing a preview of a
freestyle over Ice Spice’s viral hit “Munch (Feelin’ U)” on social media last week.
