Nicki Minaj Sets Tour Revenue Record For Female Rapper

When Nicki Minaj was arrested last month in Amsterdam for weed, of all things, she claimed it was part of a shadowy plot to destroy her world tour.

"They’re being paid big money to try to sabotage my tour b/c soooooo many ppl are mad that it’s this successful & they can’t eat off me. They got caught stealing money from my travel/jets. Got fired. Got mad. Etc," she claimed.

We are pretty sure it was just bad luck, and there is no plot to wreck her tour.

But if there was, it would be a failure.

Nicki's tour has been a huge success, and she is now the first female rapper to have 20 shows gross over $2 MILLION in revenues each.

That's a pretty arbitrary metric on which to judge someone.  But it is still over $40 million, which is nice.
