Quavo and The Rocket Foundation Partner with White House for Gun Violence Prevention Summit

Today, GRAMMY-nominated artist and philanthropist Quavo, along with The Rocket Foundation, joins forces with the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention to host a pivotal summit during Gun Violence Prevention Month. This significant event honors the memory of Takeoff and all victims and survivors of gun violence while promoting Community Violence Intervention (CVI) initiatives in Atlanta.

The Rocket Foundation Summit will be livestreamed, beginning at 10:30 AM ET, with a highlight being a special fireside chat between Vice President Kamala Harris and Quavo, moderated by Greg Jackson, at 2 PM ET. This engaging conversation will be available on the White House’s Twitter, Facebook, and official website.

The summit’s agenda includes a comprehensive day of programming with panels led by influential leaders and organizations, focusing on community violence intervention and youth programs. The event will culminate with remarks from state and local officials, celebrating Quavo and The Rocket Foundation’s contributions to gun violence prevention and commemorating Takeoff’s legacy on what would have been his 30th birthday.
