UMG Attempts To Explain What Kendrick Lamar's Certified Pedophile Drake Diss Means

Universal is trying to get the latest amendment to Drake's defamation lawsuit against the label-- which is a response to Kendrick Lamar's Drake diss "Not Like Us -- thrown out.
During today's proceedings, UMG was asked what the "certified pedophile" bar in "Not Like Us" meant.
"It's a play on certified loverboy," UMG's lawyer explained, referencing Drake's album Certified Loverboy. "The context is all the rumors about Drake and young females."
According to Drake, Universal -- which is also his label -- defamed him by pushing "Not Like Us" to a broad audience.
