Xzibit Makes Cameo In “Pimp My Ride” Sketch For “SNL”

The skit is one of the top trending videos on YouTube.

Xzibit served as the host of Pimp My Ride for six seasons. Saturday Night Live recreated the popular series in a cut-for-time segment featuring the television personality/recording artist.

SNL’s “Please Don’t Destroy – Pimp My Ride” did not make it onto Saturday’s show. However, the NBC-produced program’s YouTube channel published the 3-minute comedy skit on Monday (January 22).

Saltburn actor Jacob Elordi plays a janitor looking to get his vehicle upgraded in “Please Don’t Destroy – Pimp My Ride.” Xzibit makes a cameo appearance in the sketch which has become a trending video on YouTube.

Pimp My Ride debuted on the MTV network in March 2004 and ran until 2007. The Xzibit-led version in America inspired international spinoffs such as Pimp My Ride UK, Pimp My Ride France and Pimp My Ride Brasil.

Xzibit later accused MTV’s parent company, Viacom (now known as Paramount Global) of using his “name and likeness” without proper compensation. Pimp My Ride also faced allegations of faking or removing restorations done to the cars.

In addition to becoming a TV star for the Millennial generation from Pimp My Ride, Xzibit began his entertainment career as a rapper. The West Coaster released albums like 2000’s Restless and 2002’s Man vs. Machine.
